Protexin Pro-Kolin Advanced 犬用特效止瀉益生菌含有益生菌糞腸球菌 (DSM 10663/NCIMB 10415) 4b1707，有助於促進腸道菌叢中有益菌的生長。它還含有有益生元 Preplex®，一種由低聚果糖 (FOS) 和阿拉伯膠 (阿拉伯樹膠) 組成的複合物，可促進有益菌的生長；此外還含有果膠，有助於舒緩腸道內壁。
