Plaqtiv+ Oral Care Water Additive is a daily dental care solution for dogs and cats designed to reduce tartar formation and freshen breath. It is notable for being the first water additive in Europe to receive the Veterinary Oral Health Council (VOHC) Seal of Acceptance, scientifically proven to reduce calculus by at least 20%.

 

Key Features and Technology

  • Xpersiv™ Technology: This patented complex binds minerals in the mouth to inhibit the maturation of oral biofilm into hard tartar (calculus).
  • Zinc Chloride: Included to provide immediate breath freshening by neutralizing sulfur compounds.
  • Unflavoured: The liquid is concentrated and unflavoured, ensuring no noticeable change to the taste or smell of the pet's water.
  • Safe Composition: It contains no xylitol, artificial colours, or preservatives and is made with food-grade ingredients.

Usage Instructions

  1. Shake well before use.
  2. Add 2 dosing caps (1 cap = 10ml) per 600ml of fresh drinking water.
  3. For smaller bowls, adjust proportionally (e.g., 1 cap for 300ml).
  4. For optimal results, the additive should be used every time the pet's water is refilled.
