Dechra DermAllay Oatmeal Spray Conditioner is a soothing, leave-on topical spray designed to moisturize, protect, and relieve dry, itchy, and sensitive skin in dogs and cats. This general-purpose grooming aid is formulated to rebuild the skin barrier and restore luster to brittle coats without requiring rinsing.

 

This product is intended for topical application on animals. While it is safe for general use, we recommend consulting your veterinarian before use if your pet has any pre-existing health conditions, is pregnant, nursing, or if you have any concerns.

Key Active Ingredients & Benefits

  • Colloidal Oatmeal (Hydrolyzed Oat Protein): Delivers anti-pruritic (anti-itch) properties to calm seasonal allergies, irritation, and redness.
  • Ceramides: Aid in repairing and moisturizing dry, damaged skin by stabilizing keratinization and restoring the natural lipid barrier.
  • Safflower Oil: Supplies essential fatty acids to lock in moisture, soothe inflammation, and bring a healthy gloss back to the fur.
  • Alpha-Hydroxy Acids (AHAs): Provide gentle conditioning and mild exfoliation to clear away dry, scaly skin cells.

The product can be used as often as desired or as directed by your veterinarian using three different application methods:

  • Dry Application: Shake well, part the hair, and spray directly onto dry skin and haircoat. Allow it to air-dry.
  • Wet Application (Post-Bath): Remove excess water with a towel after washing your pet. Spray the conditioner directly onto the skin, then comb or groom normally.
  • As a Dip/Rinse: Mix 3 tablespoons (or 2 to 4 capfuls) into one quart of warm water. Pour the mixture over your pet's back while avoiding the eyes and ears, rub it thoroughly into the coat, and towel dry without rinsing.
