  • Easy to Break: The tablets are clover-shaped with cross-shaped cuts, making them easy to break in half or quarter by hand.

 

Side Effects and Precautions

  • Expected Reactions: Increased thirst (increased water intake) and significantly increased urination are normal reactions to diuretics.
  • Potential Risks: Long-term use may lead to dehydration or electrolyte imbalance (such as hypokalemia). If your dog experiences loss of appetite, vomiting, diarrhea, or unusual weakness, contact a veterinarian immediately.
  • Contraindications: Do not use in dogs with hypovolemia, hypotension, severe dehydration, or kidney failure.
  • Storage Safety: Because the tablets have a fragrance, they must be stored out of reach of dogs to prevent accidental overdose and poisoning.
