Dechra TrizEDTA Aqueous Flush is a multi-purpose water-based solution designed for cats and dogs to clean ears and skin. It is frequently used as a supportive treatment for severe bacterial ear infections (otitis externa), particularly those involving Pseudomonas.

  • Antibacterial & Biofilm Disruption: EDTA damages bacterial cell walls and helps break down bacterial biofilms, making it easier for antibiotics to reach and kill hidden bacteria.
  • Alkalinizing Environment: The solution buffers the ear canal to a pH of 8, creating an environment that is unfavorable for bacterial growth and enhances the effectiveness of specific antibiotics.
  • Debris Removal: It helps dissolve inflammatory discharge and earwax, allowing medications to penetrate deeper into the affected area.
  • Gentle Formula: Being water-based and alcohol-free, it is non-stinging and safe for long-term use.
  • Shake well before each use
  • Squeeze Dechra TrizEDTA Aqueous Flush directly into the ear, filling the ear canal
  • Gently massage the base of the ear for 30 seconds
  • Use a clean cotton ball to gently wipe away excess liquid and remove debris

Pretreatment: Recommended to use Dechra TrizEDTA Aqueous Flush 15-30 minutes before applying topical antibiotic ointment to enhance the drug's effectiveness.

Two to three times a week application. Please consult your veterinarian regarding any ear problems your pet may experience.
