Dechra CleanOcular is a gentle eye cleanser designed specifically for dogs and cats, primarily used for daily cleaning of eye secretions and removal of tear stains.

 

This product is intended for topical application on animals. While it is safe for general use, we recommend consulting your veterinarian before use if your pet has any pre-existing health conditions, is pregnant, nursing, or if you have any concerns.

Clean_Ocular

Dechra CleanOcular is a gentle eye cleanser designed specifically for dogs and cats, primarily used for daily cleaning of eye discharge and removal of tear stains. Its formula is slightly alkaline (pH 7.4), matching the pH of pet tears, ensuring no irritation during use.

 

Main Usages and Benefits

  • Daily Eye Care: Removes impurities, debris, and dried secretions from the skin and fur around the eyes.
  • Tear Stain Removal: Especially suitable for light-colored dogs and cats, effectively fading dark tear stains caused by excessive tearing.
  • As an Adjunct Treatment: Can be used as a pre-treatment cleaning step for eye infections under veterinary guidance.
  • Antibacterial and Soothing: Contains mild antibacterial ingredients to remove inflammatory substances and added plant extracts such as chamomile or witch hazel to soothe the skin.

Instructions

  • Eye Area Cleaning: Apply a few drops of Dechra CleanOcular to a gauze pad or cotton ball.
  • Gentle Wiping: Gently wipe the affected area, starting from the inner corner of the eye and moving towards the outer corner.
  • Avoid Contact: Be careful when wiping; do not allow the cotton ball or bottle nozzle to come into direct contact with the surface of the eye.
  • Clean the Nozzle: Thoroughly clean the nozzle after use to prevent bacterial contamination of the liquid.
  • Frequency: Can be used daily as needed, or as directed by a veterinarian.

 

Precautions: If your pet experiences symptoms such as eye pain, redness, excessive discharge, or persistent scratching of the eyes, consult a veterinarian before using this product.
