This product must be used under the recommendation and ongoing supervision of a veterinarian, with an ideal veterinary check every six months.
ROYAL CANIN® URINARY S/O + BLADDER COMFORT + SATIETY dry food is a complete dietetic food for cats intended for dissolving struvite stones, reducing struvite stone recurrence, managing lower urinary tract disorders in cats, and reducing excess weight.
It has urine undersaturating or metastabilizing properties with respect to struvite and/or urine acidifying properties.
RECOMMENDATIONS: It is recommended to seek veterinary advice before use or before extending the feeding period. To dissolve struvite stones, feed this diet for five to twelve weeks; to reduce struvite stone recurrence, initially for up to six months.
Feed until the target weight is reached and as needed to maintain the target weight. A transition period is recommended for cats when starting this diet. To achieve efficient weight loss or maintenance of an ideal weight, the recommended daily energy intake should not be exceeded.
Helps dissolve struvite stones (feline lower urinary tract disease)
This diet encourages cats’ natural drinking behaviour. It promotes urine dilution thus limiting urine saturation.
This diet contains a combination of nutrients to address the leading risk factors of feline lower urinary tract disease including feline idiopathic cystitis (FIC).
