ATOP 7® spot-on is the 1st spot-on exclusively containing ingredients of natural origin to promote cutaneous barrier repair and help soothe irritated skin.

 

Is it suitable for my pet?

  • Irritated skin, prone to itching : ATOP 7® spot-on is a practical answer to help soothe and reinforce the skin in addition to drug treatments.
  • Between episodes: a regular and continuous use helps promote skin barrier repair for a better natural defense of the skin.

 

Composition

  • Vegetable oil, rich in essential fatty acids (Omega 3 & 6), necessary to reinforce your animal’s skin barrier but that they are unable to synthesize by themselves
  • Lipidic complex extracted from wheat grains rich in ceramides as well as essential fatty acids
  • Soothing synergy of essential oils, rich in turmeric, wintergreen and shiu wood
  • A phyto bio-diffusing agent to enable an efficient and homogeneous diffusion of all ingredients onto the whole body surface from a single-point of application, thanks to the natural sebum on the skin of the animal

No massage required. A powerful bio-diffusing agent allows a homogeneous distribution of the product all over the body of the animal from a single point of application.

 
     
  It is recommended not to bathe the horse during the 2 days before and the 2 days following the application in order to keep the sebum naturally present on the surface of the animal’s skin, from being prematurely cleansed off before the complete diffusion of the ingredients.
     
  No known interaction if combined use with any other «spot-on».
     
  For animals with long or abundant hair, brush the point of application 24 hours later to remove any product residue on the coat.
     

 

The vet’s opinion

The use of topical care to promote the repair of the cutaneous barrier remains essential in the multimodal management of recurring pathologies such as allergic dermatitis or atopic dermatitis. 

 

Thanks to its essential fatty acids and phyto-ceramides, ATOP 7® spot-on is a useful and particularly convenient solution to help soothe and hydrate sensitive skin.


Espagnol

A veterinary study** on 28 dogs demonstrated the value of ATOP 7® spot-on in helping to soothe atopy-prone skin.

 

Sixteen atopic dogs received, in addition to their medical treatment, ATOP 7® spot-on and ATOP 7® shampoo once a week for one month, while twelve atopic dogs continued their medical treatment without any additional care.

 

The effects of ATOP 7® were demonstrated compared with the group without additional topical treatment:
