Dechra TrizUltra+Keto Flush is a multi-purpose, non-irritating topical cleaning solution specifically designed for cleaning the ears and skin of cats and dogs. It has antimicrobial and antifungal properties and is commonly used to treat areas infected with yeast or bacteria.

 

  • Usual Cleaning: Gently removes wax and secretions from the ear canal.
  • Infection Treatment: Treats skin and ear infections caused by yeast or bacteria.
  • Long-Term Care: The formula is gentle, fragrance-free, and non-irritating, suitable for long-term use in pets prone to recurrent infections.

 

This product combines two key ingredients that make it particularly effective in treating infections:

 

  • 0.15% Ketoconazole: A potent antifungal ingredient that effectively combats a variety of fungi and yeasts.
  • TrizEDTA (Tromethamine USP & Disodium EDTA): According to Leedstone, TrizEDTA weakens bacterial cell walls, making antibiotic ointments more effective. Additionally, it alkalizes the ear canal, creating an environment unfavorable for bacterial growth.
  • Shake well before each use
  • Squeeze Dechra TrizUltra+Keto Flush directly into the ear, filling the ear canal
  • Gently massage the base of the ear for 30 seconds
  • Use a clean cotton ball to gently wipe away excess liquid and remove debris

Pretreatment: Recommended to use Dechra TrizUltra+Keto Flush 15-30 minutes before applying topical antibiotic ointment to enhance the drug's effectiveness.

 

Frequency: Use as directed by a veterinarian or as needed.
